For optimum performance it is recommended to use a professional graphics card designed for use with CAD applications. To work with large assemblies of complex parts we recommend a graphics card with at least 256 MB of memory.

It uses the same principles and approaches to the pre-and post-processing computational model and solver NX Nastran. The application is supported by Solid Edge Simulation numerical analysis not only of parts and sheet metal and assemblies and the designer can specify different conditions of contact interaction of parts (and associated contact with a given sliding friction).
Solid Edge provides a set of tools for creating drawings at any stage of the project. In Solid Edge you can create two types of drawing views: associative types of 3D-model and drawing views of independent 2D-model.
